Philippe Landry (b. 1980, St. Martinville, Louisiana) is a self-taught composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound, visual and performance artist based in New Orleans, LA. He has participated in group exhibitions in New Orleans, Cleveland, OH, Brooklyn, NY, and Montreal, Quebec, showing sound art, collaborating in visual installations, and composing music for modern and contemporary dance. Philippe holds a Bachelors in Anthropology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has completed graduate-level research on right-wing political culture in early-20th century France, including presenting a paper on culture and nationalism at the 2010 Western Society for French History annual conference. Philippe is a contributing writer for Pelican Bomb.
