Kenneth Krimstein

Ken Krimstein is an award-winning copywriter and creative director who combines executive experience at at some of the top agencies in New York, Chicago, and Hong Kong with an extensive career as a partner in his own creative marketing agencies in New York City and Chicago. He has worked on blue chip accounts, from Coca-Cola to American Express, and has created award-winning public service advertising for clients, including The Skin Cancer Foundation and Save the Hong Kong Harbour initiative.

In his columns for Adweek and Forbes magazine, Krimstein has addressed the importance of creativity in marketing across traditional and digital media. He has also contributed a chapter (and the cover illustration) to The Business of Writing (Allworth Press, Oct. 2012).

Krimstein earned an M.S. from Northwestern University and a B.A. from Grinnell College, and has taught seminars on creative and strategy development at Syracuse University, The University of North Carolina, the annual College Career Conference sponsored by the Advertising Women of New York, as well as portfolio courses at New York's School of Visual Arts.

Krimstein's humor columns and articles have been featured in The New York Observer and McSweeney's Internet Tendency and his cartoons have appeared in The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Reader's Digest, Barron's, and National Lampoon. A collection of his work, Kvetch as Kvetch Can — Jewish Cartoons, is published by Clarkson Potter/Random House.
