Tomáš Dvořák (*78) aka Floex - clarinetist, composer, producer and multimedia artist from Prague (Czech Republic). He is pioneer of electronic music in Czech Republic and author of several award winning albums (Pocustone, Zorya, Gone). His music is characteristic by unique blend of both acoustic and electronic instruments. He is well known for his cooperation with Amanita Design on the soundtracks for the indie games Samorost 2 (2006), Machinarium (2009) and Samorost 3 (2016).
Tomáš is also author of several unique interactive multimedia installations and performances (RGB, Crossroad, Live Score) which he started to develop from 2002. Cooperation with Initi started new exciting chapter and their Archifon series is the most significant work up to date.
I am The Mighty Jungulator

Matthew Olden is a computer artist who collaborates with little computer people, who he programs to make music, do visuals and manipulate data. Matthew also helps many artists to develop and build interactive art installations.
He records music under various names, ‘I am the mighty Jungulator’, being one of them. He is also great friends with Fancy Cat.
Matthew’s work is spread all over the internet in what at first seems a random and slapdash way.

Tom deMajo is a UK based artist and designer working in digital art and sound, and is a founder and director of Biome Collective, a co-working space for people who want to create, collaborate and explore games, digital art and technology.
His work explores the effects and uses of technology and media in society and culture and has been applied to screen, theatre, computer games, exhibition installation, and hybrid virtual/real works. As well as his own work, Tom has collaborated with National institutions like National Theatre Scotland, Scottish Dance Theatre, National museum of Scotland, and with internationally known artists like Elizabeth Ogilvie, Roddie Buchanan and Joseph DeLappe.

Kirsty Keatch is a sound artist and creative programmer exploring the design of playful interactive sound in game systems, including AR and VR. Her work seamlessly integrates the dark arts of mobile technology with lighter creative contexts to widen people’s access to experiences with sound in installations in gallery spaces and mobile games.
Having completed a Masters in Sound Design by research at Edinburgh University, she worked with assistive music technology company, Skoogmusic. She had her kinetic sound installation, Katakata, curated at the Edinburgh International Science Festival in the National Museum of Scotland. Her recent AR game, Fit In, has been interpreted as a VR Party Game and been played at Arcadia in Dundee and V&A Friday Late in London.
Luci Holland - Instrumental Animation

Luci Holland is a composer and arts producer who explores interdisciplinary creativity in film, games and performance.
Luci graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Composition for Screen in 2013, now working regularly with music & arts organisations such as the Tinderbox Project and Absolute Classics, and occassionally coordinating events as the Edinburgh Game Symposium and with her music-for-media band Mantra Collective.
Currently she is working on several other collaborative composition, recording, and music projects for film, games, and original music albums. Luci also just completed a custom-built interactive sonic art installation for the 2017 Hidden Door festival (CITADEL), as well as a bespoke music & sound piece for the outdoors audiovisual experience at Dean Castle, Illuminight.

Maurice Andresen is a visual artist and graphic designer originally from Germany. Having graduated from Communication Design at the Glasgow School of Art in 2016, he designs predominantly using 3D software to create animated environments, characters and narratives that he incorporates into interactive video games. He is interested in building experiential simulations which transport viewers into otherworldly realms.

Yann Seznec is an artist and musician whose work focuses on sound, music, physical interaction, games, and building new instruments.
Recent projects include residencies at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, the Floating Cinema in London, Playable City Lagos, and Timespan in the Scottish Highlands. He has performed at The Roundhouse London, Mutek Montreal, Melbourne Recital Hall, Liquid Rooms Tokyo, Köln Philharmonie, Fak’ugesi Johannesburg, and more.
Much of his work involves building custom instruments such as musical pigsties, slinky instruments, candle-based sound installations, electromechanical mushroom spore reactors, and more. He is founder of BAFTA-winning creative studio Lucky Frame and is a lecturer at Abertay University. In December 2015 he received the British Composer Award for Sonic Art for his 2014 Edinburgh Art Festival work “Currents”.
Games are Boring
Zoë Sams is a Tools Programmer, and a member of the Board of Directors for IGDA Scotland. Her passion lies in combining art and code, and she is a strong believer that networking and diversity can only strengthen the games industry and push us to continue creating fresh, innovative content. This year, Zoë was awarded a place on Develop’s 30 Under 30 list for her work as a STEM Ambassador.

During this time, he’s noticed a consistent and above average number of community minded, kind, and high achieving people play Ultimate. Interactive Art Through Video Games
We kick off a new week of "Presentations of the Day" with this fine example by Greg Whistance-Smith, in which he examines what a video game is, and looks at the variety of expressions possible within interactive arts as a whole. He gives several examples of games which he believes have in some way transcended simply being fun, turning into interactive arts or experiences.

Creative Appraoch in IT
"If you are a creative person and are able to express yourself, you will always find interest in life directly and live for the moment". Vitaliy Khit, Game Developer in KhitGames, in his presentation from PKN Dnipropetrovsk IT::Reality Vol.10 shares his life experience and advices in IT field.
From the minute the lights came up at the end of the inaugural BitSummit—a humble but ultimately successful effort—we immediately took the enthusiasm and feedback and support gathered from the first event and set our sights on creating an even better follow-up for 2014. Games as Interactive Art
"We're trying to translate these classical concepts from painting -- a static medium -- to 3D environments..." Artist, game designer, and author Chris Solarski speaks on the points where video games intersect with classical art, film, and animation. In "Games as Interactive Art" from PKN Tokyo Vol. 114, he discusses the interactive aspect of games, and how this element fundamentally changes the way we engage with images.
Where Games are Going (Or Not)
A head-worn device that allows players to feel 3D space through haptics, rich audio, and visuals -- this is the future of games: Artist, game designer, and UCLA Design|Media Arts professor Eddo Stern discusses a number of the projects he has worked on both personally, and in collaboration with his students. In "Where Games are Going (Or Not)" from PKN Tokyo Vol. 116, he shows off three projects in varying stages of development: a sensory deprivation game that uses haptic and audio feedback, a role-playing game that involves an audience of players using motion technology, and a hand-drawn game that incorporates elements of theater.
Banding Together through Games
Making a band means getting lost, building, and fighting evil denizens of space! Roger Hicks talks about his games and how his life has inspired his games to come to life. In "Banding Together through Games" from some special guerilla-style PechaKucha recordings at Tokyo Game Show 2014, we see that his love of music and getting lost, inspired and encouraged him to keep working on developing games, and meeting new people along the way.
