You have to listen closely to catch what Paula Asbell was thinking when she titled this presentation "The Big Picture". However, it's easy to see how Paula keeps her mind open to creative impulses and how those inspriations lead her to create her art. Sometimes it's just the notion of "I don't want to waste this paint" that can lead to a new work.
