Michael Palagi talks about his visit to Kenya. The purpose of his talk is to encourage people to donate for building a new school in the place where he stayed for 4 weeks in Nairobi. He talks about the talented teachers and students in the school, learning, playing, dancing and having fun. There is a need to build a new school in order to help more kids, decrease deceases and make their lives less difficult.

Got Milk...Donor?

Maureen Ohm is a mother who donated nearly 1,000 ounces of breast milk after her first child was stillborn. Her second child is now two months old, and Maureen intends to donate breast milk again once she has enough milk stored for her own child. She is passionate about the benefits of breast milk and is excited to spread awareness about breast milk donation. She has donated breast milk through milk banks and through informal sharing, and she will share her own story as well as stories of other mothers and babies who have donated and received this precious commodity.

Mehdi Doumi is from Algeria and England, studied biomedical engineering, and is a technical leader in Research and Innovation at L’Oreal USA - researching human perception of cosmetic products.  He has been part of NPO Ligo Project, promoting science in U.S. culture through humor and videography.  He also enjoys carpentry, improv, and drawing satirical cartoons.  Over the last 4 years he has committed himself to creating abstract artwork to any K-12 educator across the USA.  He hopes that each art piece stimulates student curiosity about math and science topics, especially in a challenging teaching environment.
