Poetry Press Week

Poetry Press Week in Portland, Oregon

Poetry PressWeek

CREATED ON DECEMBER 15, 2015
IN PORTLAND OR

_____ and Liz ______ discuss Poetry Press Week. Inspired by a fasion week– style format, it gives poets a venue from wich they can present their work to an audiance of portland's litterary enthusiast, publishers, etc. This format created a unique new vibe that allowed for litterary artists to present not just their words, but a unique 'model' as chosen by the poet.

Nottingham’s UNESCO ‘City of Literature’ Bid

BY PIPPA HENNESSEY
@ VOL 2 ON JUN 20, 2014

Pippa Hennessey has not been writing for long and always felt like the odd one out in classes or meetings where she meets people who have been writing since they were foetuses. Her tendency (even though she always hated the stuff) is towards writing poetry. She is a member of Nottingham Writers’ Studio, where she is on the board as the Project Delivery Coordinator and is the Secretary of the Nottingham Poetry Society. I’m on the steering committees for theNottingham Festival of Words and the Beeston Poets.
