Bob Richardson shares his unique mode of painting using a grid-system, and explains how his art style has changed over the years. He uses a variety of mediums, including canvas, silk screen, and watercolor paper. After retirement, Bob revisited his systemic painting method and experimented with new compositions and brush widths to create effective pieces of art.

Heidi Hogden received a BFA in painting from Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a MFA in studio art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in affiliation with Tufts University. While a MFA student, she was the recipient of a Graduate and Post Graduate Teaching Fellowship, the Montague International Travel Grant to study abroad in Italy, and the President's Award in Painting. Heidi has also had the opportunity to present and show her work in four solo exhibitions and recently was awarded a grant to attend the Vermont Studio Center Artist Residency in Johnson, VT. Her work can be seen in the upcoming South Dakota Governor’s 6th Biennial Art Exhibition at the South Dakota Art Museum, Brookings, the Dahl Arts Center, Rapids City, the Washington Pavilion of Arts And Science, Sioux Falls, the John A. Day Gallery, Vermillion and the Dacotah Prairie Museum, Aberdeen, SD.

In 60 Years of Textile Art Inspiration from Honolulu at PechaKucha Night Honolulu Vol. 28, Josh Feldman explores the inspiration for Tori Richard prints and explain why he thinks Honolulu is perhaps the only place where a company like Tori Richard is possible.
Josh is the president and CEO of Tori Richard, Ltd., a resort apparel company founded in Honolulu in 1956. Tori Richard is the largest textile and apparel manufacturer in the state of Hawaii with nearly 200 employees and over 2,000 points of distribution. Tori Richard is unique in that it creates and copyrights 100% of the textile artwork it uses. This is relatively unique in the industry and an area of expertise shared by just a few dozen companies globally.

Shanna Melton has shared her potery for years and has been making an impact on others. Much of her inspiration has come from Maya Angelou who set an example by sharing her triumph over the obstacles she faced and creating a legacy to influence others. Just as Maya Angelou elevated herself through her art, Shanna uses art as a bridge between herrself and her family/community.
