Love an Old House

David Dominé believes that old houses are like old people - if you listen to them, they'll have a story to tell. David moved to Louisville in 1993, where he was immediately taken by the display of vibrant architecture. He began writing books about old houses in the neighborhood, bringing back their colorful and interesting pasts.

Julie Anderson Friesen is the founder of Cinema Falls, a film organization dedicated to building community and exhibiting indie film, world cinema and documentaries in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She's a co-owner of post-production facility Dakota Video & Post with her husband of 24 years. Motivated to create something for her community based on her love of film, she launched Cinema Falls with a mission to bring film-loving “Cine-zens” together for ongoing screenings. Cinema Falls showcases work by South Dakota filmmakers as well as national, award-winning directors. She launched Cinema Falls Film Credits in 2014, bringing mobile film education events to students

In PhoneBox Love from PechaKucha Night Brighton Vol. 23, Philippa Stanton shared with us her love for the world-renowned symbol of Great Britain - telephone boxes. Her love grew to be a fantastic photo project overtime, which we also get a chance to observe in the video.

Philippa is a synaesthetic artist, actress and an Instagram Starlet (she has 500k followers).
