Denise Daffara began painting and drawing in 1999 as a celebration of fun and freedom.  However in the lead up to preparing her Pecha Kucha presentation she was called home to New Zealand and had to prepare for her mother’s death. In her presentation she shares some of that journey and some of the beautiful drawings that eventuated.

Nicholas Coffee takes us through history of temporal craftsmen with examples of temples and shrines across Japan. His study was made possible by the Georgia Trust Foundation.

Nicholas is a LEED AP Architectural Designer at FXFOWLE working on a range of projects in NYC from urban design to interior design. Previously he worked at Bjarke Ingels Group on a variety of projects including the Hot to Cold exhibition and publication. He holds a Masters of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelors of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder (his hometown.)

Claudia Ammirata opens up about how she found a new life through photography after the loss of her husband.  Photography became a form of art therapy that lead to publishing her own book, "Ephemeral Beauty," that uses flowers as the vehicle to interpret the metaphor of life.
