Luis Mendo has been designing for 14 years. Before moving to Amsterdam, he worked in newspaper design teams in Barcelona. In june 2005 he founded GOOD Inc.® and was included in the “Top 10 best Art Directors in The Netherlands”.
Next to his work as a designer, he has a double life as a illustrator and graphic artist. Luis writes in books, blogs and magazines, is part of juries, teaches editorial design and gives lectures & workshops internationally. In 2007 he founded the reliable freelancers group Goodfellas Network. Since 2012 he's also been the Design Director of the PechaKucha organisation.

Emma Exley traces the history of Africa's last colony, the Western Sahara, located on the continent's northern coast. Through images of traditional Sahrawi architecture and culture, we learn about the challenges of desert living, and how something as small as a cup of tea has massive significance in the every day life of the Sahrawi people.
Emma Exley is a creative designer, former art educator, and diving enthusiast. After first discovering PechaKucha Night in Chicago in 2007, it was only a matter of time before she founded the Brooklyn chapter in 2014.
