Glass-Fabrik is a craft studio of experiment and production of works and glass objects in the service of the creators. According to the formal, functional and economic , Glass-fabrik proposes an approach by the resear and the techniques adapted among the extent of the possibilities of shaping of the glass. A network of professional partners in the craft environment allows Glass-fabrik to follow the project in her entire production and to favor the meeting between the persons receiving benefits (providers) in the service of the work. "Upon seeing the green vase, I was speechless. It was wrapped in newspaper dated from 1970 and had been in the attic the entire time. It was a one of a kind piece, and no one knew it existed. After all the wasted trips and false alarms, here I was with one of the greatest discoveries of cut glass."
Franz Hellwig is an avid collector of American Brilliant Cut Glass, an art form and product popular in the United States from 1876-1916. Franz shares with us a bit of the history and methods used by the American artisan to create these pieces of art. Today Franz is considered one of the foremost experts of American Brilliant Cut Glass and travels across the country in search for his next piece.

"If anybody would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would say 'I want to go to the Royal College of Art in Kensington Gore.' I had no idea where Kensington Gore was. I didn't care where it was, I just wanted to go there. I had a book about from the Royal College of Art and I loved the people in it, and I wanted to be one of those people."
In The Creative Evolution of the Coloring Book Lady from PechaKucha Night Bexhill-on-Sea Vol. 1, Mel Elliott takes us on a journey from her childhood dream to attend The Royal College of Art, to an early project for an advertising agency, to self publishing a Kate Moss colouring books and beyond. She continues to grow her business "I Love Mel" and practice, developing a range of products including temporary tattoos, t-shirts and card games.

In I AM a Bag Lady at PechaKucha Night Madison Vol. 20, Lesley Sager shares the stories of the Kenyan women whom have inspired her while volunteering in Africa. They are smart, creative, and hardworking but what they do not know is that they are artisans. With their beautiful hand crafted bags, they have woven their ways into Lesley's heart and have uplifted their community with their creativity and passion for education.
Lesley is a Faculty Associate and Interior Designer for the University of Wisconsin, Madison and also owns a NPGO called MGS.
