The first ever PechaKucha Night Tamale will take place on the evening of Sunday May 20th, 2018. The 20x20 presentation style keep presentations concise fast paced and entertaining.  To keep in the spirirt of a venue that encourages thinking and drinking Tamale's first PechaKucha will take place at Chuck's Bar & Resturant (on Mariam Hotel Road). This event will feature local presenters speaking for 6min and 40 seconds about a great story, something inspiring or just share an idea. Anyone can present! The Power of Empowerment

The power of empowerment vs giving your power away. E.g. Whether you give your power to the psychic that says you should go to law school and so you start studying for your LSATs, or whether you give your power to the spider in your bathroom by not relieving your bladder. In every decision I make in life I ask myself, am I giving my power away or am I owning it? Sometimes you don't even realize you've given power away until you get it back - and it feels so good when you get it back! Especially in the instance where I finally relieved my bladder.
