VOL 26

March 09, 2016
@ 444 East 2nd Street

Scott Murphy of the Downtown Dayton Partnership will emcee this special "Hack Your City" volume! Come hear how our presenters take the raw materials of Dayton -- sometimes without permission -- to make something new and vital. And how much opportunity still awaits. 20x20s will be given by:

Dave Williams - Hacking buildings and preserving history
Laurana Wong - The Circus Creative Collective
Michael DiFlora - How to REAP and renovate an old house
Greg Meredith - Why creatives and makers have an advantage over traditional MBAs
Bobby Walker - The birth of a banana treat empire
Tony Kroeger - Dayton's first skyscraper
Matt Sauer - Let's remove Hwy 35 from downtown Dayton
Peter Benkendorf - 20 great ideas for hacking the City
Max Spang - Dayton Mobile Market

We are waiting to find out if Alexandria Rivers of Twist Cupcakery, Terry Perdue of The Unit, and Derrick Martin for redeveloping North Main Street will be able to present. We'll keep you posted.

Expect the usual modest beer, wine, pop, water and salty snacks at our 20-minute beer break. There will be a lot to talk about, so you'll be thirsty.

Thank you to CityWide Development for the space, to Rebecca Sargent for loaning her art to our poster; Catapult Creative, Michael Kalter LLC-Social Architects and Dragonfly Editorial for their generous sponsorship.

Cost of admission? Free. Donations appreciated to help defray the cost of things like space and chair rental.
