VOL 9

November 18, 2015
@ Seat of the Board of Architects of Milan

CALL FOR PRESENTERS

English version

Welcome back Pecha Kucha Night! PKN volume #9 is coming back to Milan with its globally known format 20x20!

Starting from volume #9, Pecha Kucha Night Milan is adopting a common thread for the volumes to come in 2016: ‘False Friends’ is the expression referred to words that look or sound similar in two different languages, but differ significantly in meaning. As Pecha Kucha Nights are events open to international participation and cultural exchanges, it's obvious that these potential misunderstandings can happen. PKN Milan wants then to capitalize this potential of risk to convert it into an element to foster impredictability and  randomness of the different presentations.

The PK night taking place on November 18th will have as its main topic POST: each of the participant will be free to define how to deal with it.

CALL FOR PRESENTERS
All candidates interested to share their presentations in a nice and informal environment please send an email to pknmilan@gmail.com before Friday November 6th at 12PM. Please write a short text (150 words maximum) to explain your perspective and the discipline you talk about while addressing the topic. Attached to the email, please send als 3 images 1600x1200 px as a sample of your presentation.

The presentations must be structured as always on the 20x20 format and can be presented either in Italian or English.
