Presenting design projects to the public does not warrant an opportunity to explain choices made during the production of architectural models. However, these are essential elements of the design process that have an ability to significantly enhance the quality of the presentation, especially when complex three-dimensional spatial arrangements are present, time, resources, and budgets are limited and artistic visions and values are at stake. This presentation examines an array of choices that led to a production of an architectural model on a rapid prototyping machine.
