About the City's Organizers

  • Morgan Robinson

Morgan Robinson is an artist from Stillwater, Oklahoma working primarily with wood and metal. He received his BFA in sculpture from the University of Central Oklahoma where he had the freedom to experiment with furniture as art. After graduating, Robinson worked as a custom cabinet maker for five years, refining his wood working skills and techniques. After traveling to Japan and learning traditional methods of wood working used for centuries, he returned home to set up a wood/metal working studio in Stillwater, OK, where he currently teaches 3D Foundations at Oklahoma State University. Robinson’s work focuses on merging eastern philosophies of minimalism and sculptural form into beautiful artistic statements to add to the quality in our daily lives.

  • Katrina Klempa

My name is Katrina Klempa and I am a young creative based in both Tulsa and Stillwater, Oklahoma. I aspire to find a career where I am creatively and intellectually challenged. Starting out interested in becoming an animator, I spent a lot of time in high school attending technical school classes in 3D design and animation. I learned how to use modeling, rendering, and video-editing software. Through this process, I realized that I loved being able to be apart of someone's- a stranger's- experience in the world by creating art. To be able to affect someone for the better without even meeting them is an incredible thing. My mind wandered back to the architectural plans and projects my mother would always study as I was growing up, and I turned to architecture shortly after entering my senior year of high school. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree of Architecture at Oklahoma State University. I'm set to graduate December, 2020. I'm looking to help benefit the community of Stillwater through being apart of Pecha Kucha movement in my city. I'm very excited about the outcome and prep of it!
