BY EMMA KRATOCHWILL
@ VOL 3 ON AUG 06, 2015

While digesting the politically-fueled noise that reignited racial disparities during the 2016 presidential election, freelance writer and public relations professional Emma Dean Kratochwill shares a positive personal perspective on white America, including first-hand experiences as a Mexican migrant worker.  Never dismissing the darkness of past and new civil atrocities, she gleans chortle and self-satire from blissfully ignorant encounters with prejudice, world-changing icons and a most unlikely interracial marriage that transplanted her to the middle of redneck rural U.S.A

Regardless of one’s career path, Steve Hill makes the case that you can never really shake being a smart-alecky cartoonist. He shares a brief, if not entirely accurate, history of editorial cartooning followed by examples of his own cartoons and an admission that he might have unwittingly passed the gene to his son.
