POW WOW, is a term that describes a gathering that celebrates culture, music and art. Centered around a week-long event in Hawaii, POW! WOW! has grown into a global network of artists and organizes gallery shows, lecture series, schools for art and music, and mural projects.

Famous In Bushwick is a collective group of artists and individuals that live and work in the Bushwick community of Brooklyn. It was founded by local DJ; Jimmy Cee (The Gent) two years ago in partnership with Silky's Skateshop & Gr33n Cl3an and Gold Street Collective. The nucleus has grown to include Trip and Trap, and Napkinkilla. Famous in Bushwick specializes in production, events, and visual media. They are expert peer influencers in lifestyle.

Get psyched to hear Kamea Hadar who came to PechaKucha Night Tokyo Vol. 129, all in all the way from Hawaii to speak on his role as co-lead director of Pow! Wow! — a global artists gathering set in cities all over the world.

A-MINUS shares on his community outreach project and positive Hip-Hop. A-MINUS is a positive hip-hop artist from Akron, Ohio who is creating his own lane by starting a movement through community outreach in an effort to change the negative mindset of youth.

His trademarked brand "ALIEN NATION" serves as a clothing line and an independent record label. The motto is "DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT". A-MINUS has performed at various venues/schools throughout the state of Ohio and has opened up for legendary artist/groups such as Rakim, Whodini & Slum Village. He has released two mixtapes: The Alien has Landed VOL. I & II and his debut single "Take it Higher" Feat. N'Sight available on iTunes is in current rotation on WZIP 88.1FM (The University of Akron). It is the most requested song in station history. As a writer, his style has been compared to Grammy award winning artists like Lecrae, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem. A-MINUS is also a co-host for an online podcast called "The What's Really Good Show".
