Scotland's charming coastal city Dundee lands under this week's City Focus spotlight. As Scotland's fourth largest city, Dundee has been gaining traction not only locally but also worldwide as a hotspot for travel and entertainment. We hope to see more amazing content from them soon and wish them the best at PechaKucha Night Dundee Vol. 21

This week's PechaKucha People spotlight shines on designer, illustrator, and organizer of our PKN series in Dundee, Scotland, the outrageously talented and all-around champ, Lyall Bruce. Dundee, Scotland has some sunsets that can challenge Hawaii’s.

Graphic designer and PKN Dundee co-organiser Lyall Bruce shows us a thing or two about his beloved city, and what you ought to see when you visit. In “The Sun Rising on Dundee” from PKN Tokyo Vol. 123, he tells us all about Dundee’s architecture, culture, gaming scene, and naturally, its gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Another great flyer to share, this time for Dundee's upcoming PechaKucha Night Vol. 9. Let's all go for a ride!

Think no one can make you do anything?

Well, we bet we can make your mouth water! That's right, we're playing with your involuntary actions like Pavlov played with his pups (well, kind of).

Here are five meaty, food-related presentations ready for your consumption:

"From the Kitchen to the World" by Aram Reed

"Designing Cakes" by Mhairi Wild

"The Savory Month of Ramendan" by Jed Schmidt

"Molecular Gastronomy" by Nik Mavromatis

"8 Things Designers Can Learn from Baking Cakes" by James Stockdale

Huts are no longer nostalgic relics of the past. Unless we're talking about Jabba the Hut -- he died a long time ago.

In today's Presentation of the Day, "The Importance of Huts" from PKN Dundee Vol. 2, Euan Gray shows us how huts are not only important as a shelter from the harshness of mother nature, but how they've become fully-functional modern miniature marvels of interior design and architecture.

In today's Presentation of the Day, "Game Making Across the Spectrum" from PKN Dundee Vol. 2, game developer Danny Parker speaks of his experiences making his own games since he was a child.

Danny has produced and exhibited his interactive creativity on numerous platforms, from PC to consoles and more recently on mobile devices.

What I Learned from Doctor Who

Now an instructor at Cambridge University, Jonathan Baldwin talks about growing up in the 1970s, and the formative impact a certain Doctor had on his young life. In this edition of Presentation of the Day, (from PKN Dundee, Scotland Vol. 5) Jonathan relates to us some of the life lessons he learned while watching Doctor Who. One among these words of wisdom was the idea that one must nurture his/her imagination, ingenuity, and creativity -- it was this notion and many others that led him to become the man he is today.
