Perhaps, these party animals are predicting the next year's fortune as they huddle around the warm bonfire in the lively textile forest. For this week's PKN Poster Spotlight, we present artist Sandy Winkle's ethereal poster design for PechaKucha Night Dunsborough Vol. 29. In support of her local community, Sandy auctioned the design's original painting and donated the earnings to a local woman who is battling cancer. This gorgeous piece certainly creates a powerful and lasting impression that influences the viewer's perception of beekeeping. PechaKucha Night Sapporo announces their PKN Vol. 3 with a beautifully refined promotional poster. The poster proudly showcases a traditional Japanese writing system called Tategaki, characters written in columns going from top to bottom, with columns ordered from right to left. The intentionality of this minimalistic poster is to find freedom by removing much of the external clutter that distract us. You definitely won't want to miss Sapporo's next event!
