Sebastian is the founder and co-director of the company. His training was in design, making and sustainability. Growing up in the Kent countryside he spent hours in the woods, developing a deep respect for them as a resource and near-sacred space. He laid the foundations of the business in 2010 with a collection which sought to ignite a much needed conversation about our woodlands and the unlocked potential they contain. Since then he has developed collections of furniture for retailers like Heal's; designed and produced in-house collections of furniture; created the award winning Sebastian Cox Kitchen with deVOL.
SEBASTIAN 'S PRESENTATIONS

BY SEBASTIAN COX
@ VOL 14
ON MAY 24, 2017
Designer Sebastian Cox gave this PechaKucha during the Clerkenwell Design Week 2017, and instead of showcasing his own products he took the audience on a journey back in time to the UK during the 1500's when materials were scarce but people made do - including using their own do' (or poo) mixed with sticks to build sturdy homes - come on you know you want to watch and listen now!
