Non profit worker, nerd extraordinaire! That is probably the easiest way to get a handle on who I am. I am passionate about serving my community, I love my city, and I am happy that I am in a job that I get to work with youth. Gaming has always been a huge aspect of my life, and it has taught me a lot over the years. I am happy that very soon I get to merge both of my passions into my job, with the onset of Play 15! Teaching kids through play. I'm a big believer in creating what you desire.

Phil, the Quest
BY PHIL ZOSHAK
@ VOL 11
ON SEP 20, 2013
Before high school, Phil Zoshak was a socially-awkward student with below-average reading skills taking remedial classes. Video games changed his life for the better. In college he got overly addicted to a game called World of Warcraft and threw away four years of his life. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Phil escaped and soon found his dream job. Now he is launching a program called Play 15 which will utilize the good points about gaming to teach reading, writing, and problem-solving to kids who are in the situation he was once in.
"Presentation of the Day" on December 14, 2013.
