Maryann J. Riker is a mixed-media artist whose artist’s books and collages convey a sense of time and memory through vintage ephemera and modern advertising. Her artist’s books cover topics from the history of domestic labor of the American housewife to historic events such as the holocaust, the underground railroad and the women’s suffragette movement. Maryann’s work has been exhibited extensively throughout the Lehigh Valley and the U.S. and her artist’s books and collages are in many private and public collections including Lafayette College, the Newark Art Museum and Rutgers University.
