Senior Graphic Designer & Comedian, Shargaa Illustration & Design
Jill has been a professional graphic designer and illustrator since the early 1800s. She has worked for The Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Magazine, Channel 2 WESH-TV, and Universal Studios. She's also done work for Walt Disney Imagineering, Southeast Produce Council, Global Peace Film Festival and Bright House Networks. Jill started her own graphic design firm in 2000 and has not looked back. Her comedy career started by writing a fan letter to Joan Rivers who took the time to write back and offer her a contract. "I sold my first one-liner for $9 bucks. I could've died right then and there at the age of 23." She's also sold material to Carol Leifer, and performed with and Rosie O'Donnell, Lily Tomlin, Louie Anderson, Paula Poundstone, Lea DeLaria, Suzanne Westenhoefer and countless others. She was also a third place winner on ABC-TV's America's Funniest People. "I lost to a chimpanzee that had a black belt in karate. The monkey won $10,000. It's America's Funniest People, operative word, PEOPLE. But I'm not bitter." Her Pecha Kucha PowerPoint promises to be somewhat great, if not thought-provoking and funny.
