Let’s face it, the "about you" sections of websites like these are incredibly weird.

So, let's cut to the chase: I’m not famous.
I’m not even internet famous, and having a website with my name in the url isn’t an attempt to remedy the two aforementioned realities.

I used to be a professional christian (aka: pastor, priest, etc.).
I quit because I wanted to see if I could believe in God without getting paid for my answers to questions about things none of us know for sure.

I now work at a grocery store.
My back hurts a lot more than it used to.

I have a wife, son, and pug who matter more to me than you do.
I’m working towards becoming a licensed therapist.
I live in Knoxville, TN, and will never apologize for loving Cracker Barrel, Dolly Parton, and expensive chairs.

Curate Sacredness.

BY ERIC MINTON
@ VOL 19 ON MAY 12, 2016

Eric Minton reminds us that whenever we give our lives to something, not because of how cool it sounds at a dinner party, or even because we think someone or something will reward us, but because we have this belief that in doing it, the world (even in like the smallest way) makes sense, is better off, and not just for some us, but for all of us. This is deeply sacred work.
