Devon Nickels moved to Nashville with her husband just a few weeks ago from Rochester, MN. They were there for two years while her husband completed a fellowship at Mayo Clinic and Devon worked as Program & Development Associate at Rochester Art Center, a small museum focused on contemporary art.
Prior to Rochester, she worked in various program roles at the prestigious Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, Chicago; She worked at Vale Craft Gallery and Betty Dare Art Gallery, both in Chicago, on art and architecture exhibitions; and for four years, Devon served as a Robie House Interpreter Volunteer with the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
Devon holds a Masters of Arts in Museum and Exhibitions Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
Devon is thrilled to now call Nashville home and has been enjoying exploring the city before starting her job as Associate Development Manager at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts at the end of the month.
