As a life long resident of Kittitas County, I’ve been making art since I could hold a pencil. I graduated from Central Washington University with a double major in Art and Anthropology and studied the figure with artist EJ Krisor. I currently garden and raise dairy goats in and amongst making art.
I’m drawn to the natural elements of water, wind, fire, flora and fauna, on both a grand and intimate scale. My creative process has resulted in a diverse body of work ranging from representational to abstract. I often blur the line between drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and print. I make photographs that look like paintings and paintings that are informed by photographs. A three dimensional sculpture can become a point of departure for a two dimensional print image. I embrace any medium that can be used to make something beautiful.
