Peggy Buchanan, M.A. is the coordinator of vitality/wellness programming for Front Porch the largest non-profit senior service agency in so cal. and serves as the director of fitness, aquatics and physical therapy at Vista del Monte Retirement Community. She has more than 35 years of experience in the health and fitness industry as an author, instructor/trainer and program developer. Peggy is the recipient of numerous fitness industry certifications and awards including international fitness instructor and program director of the year. She is probably best known locally for her development and leadership of the Jazzercise program and was a key player in designing, equipping and programming Santa Barbara’s only fitness and aquatics center for older adults.

Join Peggy as she shares her passion for inspiring people of all ages to embrace a healthy, active lifestyle. In her presentation “WELL”th Management without the Money, Peggy shares her simple recipe for diet, exercise and lifestyle habits. She will inspire you to be the best you can be by following common sense with a sprinkle of humor and a dash of beautiful Santa Barbara scenery! Carolina Morton is from Mexico and is a Nutritionist. She is studying at the University of Aberdeen for her MSc in Global Health and Management. Gwen Robertson is from North East Aberdeenshire and has a background in Mental Health Nursing.  They are presenting on behalf of the MSc Global Heath cohort, on why they chose Global Health and Management and why they chose to study in Aberdeen and will be touching on some of the issues they have studied throughout the course.
