Evan Waters met William Kamkwambe on a visit to Malawi, and was inspired by inventive spirit and desire to create change. 

Tells the story of William Kamkwambe, and how he was able to use green energy to power his family's house. In result, allowed him to be noticed and given the opportunity to go back to school, and start working to give back to his community.

Months of research and tinkering later, and after finding numerous sources of up-to-date weather data, he had created Earth: an animated map of global wind and weather.

Power (Pavilion) to the people

Architect Andrew Just introduces his Power Pavilion, a structure that repurposes glass isolators from old power lines, that would otherwise be destined for landfill. To be erected on a ste of an old power company, now designated for public space, this pavilion will provide a venue for community events and place-making activation.
