Il tempo del cibo

BY CHIARA PATITUCCI
@ VOL 3 ON SEP 06, 2016

Matkollektivet

BY AGNES TVINNEREIM
@ VOL 6 ON JUN 03, 2016

Matkollektivet - can consumers change our region? Matkollektivet started in a neighbourhood at Landås, Bergen in 2014. The idea was that a critical number of customers (surprisingly few) could supply West Norways small scale farmers with a secure way of selling their produce. That way they could attempt to change the negative history in local agriculture, at the same time as the citys consumers got home delivery of food they would not have in another way. A win - win situation. Matkollektivet is today working to become a strong company, that gives back to society in so many ways. Agnes Tvinnereim explains.

Food, Humans & The Written Word

BY EMILY CRUMPACKER
@ VOL 21 ON DEC 06, 2016

Emily Crumpacker is a connector, a business evangelist, reader, writer and storyteller who lives somewhere between optimism and bliss. Curiosity and adventure drive her and she never forgets a face! It is food, however, that has propelled her into work and a life so full it is hard to comprehend — her years in France as a chef’s assistant in a French culinary school, cooking along side Simone Beck and Julia Child -writing a couple of books, being a spokesperson, working as private chef for Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese and a stint selling Christmas trees—along with many other experiences—have all shaped her inquisitive enthusiasm and pure zest for life.

Slow Journalism

@ VOL 14 ON SEP 15, 2016

A very speedy Laura Galindo presented 070 on behalf of Alejandro Gómez Dugand. On the Dewey Decimal library classification, 070 is the number for News media, journalism, and publishing. 070 is an independent on-line magazine covering all sorts of subjects in a slow pace, which contrary to the news frenzy of these days, allows each story to grow into a complete, facts-based, meaningful narrative.
