For 2012, the historical city of Guimaraes (Portugal) has become the European Capital of Culture. During this time, the city is full of hope, energy, creativity, and it is also full of brand new 6'40'' narratives to share. Active since October 2011, the PKNG experience has had so many stories, and in this presentation, the city's organizers, José Martins and João Rosmaninho, will introduce and chat about some of the Country, the City, and its PechaKucha Night. "We were documenting Tokyo a lot, but even though we might draw Tokyo tower three times, because of our different background and where we come from, there will be three different outcomes which we thought was really interesting."
In Celebrating Illustrators and Tokyo from PechaKucha Night Tokyo Vol. 138, David Robert and Andrew Joyce share on The Tokyoiter project. The Tokyoiter is willing to present the talent of artists and the wonderful and inspiring city of Tokyo to a larger audience. Every cover of this imaginary magazine and tribute to The New Yorker and The Parisianner is a celebration of creativity and one of the best city on earth.
