From Dumbo octopus to bottom dwellers, there are more species at the bottom of the ocean than we can count. However, because of how we treat our trash, that ends up killing these uniqu looking creatures before we even get to discover them.

In this presentation he shares his experience designing and developing "David Buoy," a streamlined tracking device to help rescuers track and assist whales trapped in fishing lines and other human debris.
