 Designer, shared her life history after her pregnancy as a starting point for the imagination of social housing. Child's birth has changed her perspective to see a different face of the community which she used to be familiar with. Only understanding the needs of the reality, following the context, the design can deep down to the life essence, return to the original temperature between people.

In this presentation, Barbara Steppe explores the world's oldest profession! Not that one...the other oldest profession - helping women to birth their babies. And that is a doula: a woman who provides emotional and physical support to a mother in her childbearing year. FreeSpirit Birth is the name of her doula practice and her intention is to awaken her community - one with a less than desirable set of birth statistics - to a very simple, tried & true way to improve birth outcomes and emotional satisfaction.

Lisa Nolen shares anecdotes from her life and how she manages anxiety. Nolen moved to Sioux Falls 10 years ago as a stepping stone on a journey. She unexpectedly found the love of her life here, by way of a meddling sister and a shared love of ice cream and WWE wrestling. Together, Chad and Lisa love taking walks with their two young children, laughing uncontrollably at their own jokes, and serving others through their business development company, Serve Collective.
Growing up, her mom often said Lisa marched to the beat of a different drum. After years of growing up trying to fit in, she’s loving this part of the journey finding her own beat.
