Lessons From Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School

PRESENTED ON MAY 25, 2014
IN CHRISTCHURCH @ VOL 19

Audrey Baldwin// performance artist // on lessons from Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School

Dr Sketchy's evolved in New York in 2005, giving rise to a new way of sketching nude models by adding burlesque and alcohol. As an artist, Audrey Baldwin praises the fun and light-hearted approach to art that Dr Sketchy's allows. However, Audrey has realised that it also sneakily challenges the status quo and celebrates differences.
