Greta Paints America

Greta Van Campen, an artist who grew up in Thomaston, Maine, decided she wanted to paint in all 50 states. In 2011 she kick started her career with a trip across the country, during which she visited all 50 states and painted in each one. She currently has a studio space in Portland and shows at Dowling Walsh gallery in Rockland.

After several years of reporting from all over Europe, Africa, the United States, and the Caribbean, he was appointed The Guardian’s New York correspondent. In 2009, he won the James Cameron Award for the “combined moral vision and professional integrity” of his coverage of the Obama campaign.
