Poet Danielle O’Halloran weaves poetry through her images telling stories of her whakapapa, childhood and life. A member of FIKA, a collective of Pasifika writers based in Ōtautahi, who have been meeting together regularly to write since 2004.

Pippa Hennessey has not been writing for long and always felt like the odd one out in classes or meetings where she meets people who have been writing since they were foetuses. Her tendency (even though she always hated the stuff) is towards writing poetry. She is a member of Nottingham Writers’ Studio, where she is on the board as the Project Delivery Coordinator and is the Secretary of the Nottingham Poetry Society. I’m on the steering committees for theNottingham Festival of Words and the Beeston Poets.
