Anuj Sharma is the fashion designer who invented the technique Button Masala. Button masala is a simple joinery system designed for clothing. The technique uses only buttons and rubber bands. His PechaKucha shows many examples of this innovative technique – enjoy the ride!

MECA’s new textile and fashion design program is growing quickly and introducing students to a rare hybrid program of textile and fashion design.  Unique in the US, the TFD program students explore 2D pattern and 3D shape as they create wearable art for the body.
