VOL 31

April 04, 2017
@ The Tin Music & Arts, Canal Basin Vaults

What are your Simple Pleasures?

Making something? Sharing a smile with a stranger? Eating an apple from a tree? Reading a bedtime story to your child? Coffee and the sunday papers in the sunshine? An impromptu picnic?

Tell us about your hobby, or a round up of the simple pleasures you enjoy, a cautionary tale about getting caught up in the rat race, reasons why we should slow down and appreciate the simple pleasures in life, or just simply a simple story.

[Like all our themes, this is intended as a prompt, inspiration or jumping off point - whatever the theme inspires for you, we want to hear about it! To sign up to speak, please get in touch via the 'Want to present?' link.]

Presenting their Simple Pleasures will be:

Why Do You Do What You Do?

Mark and Sarah Worth - Highly Sprung. An answer to a question we are often asked, one that we often ask ourselves when there just isn’t enough time in the day or energy in the bottom of a coffee cup. A chance to look at the small moments that make it all worth it!

In “Simple Pleasures”, Adam Redshaw – the editor of a niche magazine for a fun outdoors activity talks about having fun outside – and why it is important for many things, including life, business and health.
