Robyn Bardas - came to Wanaka for a week-long ski holiday 20 years ago and never left. She has explored emotive responses to land in several multimedia art works and a dissertation for her Otago Polytechnic Masters degree in Fine Arts.

Robyn shared with us "Ways to think about a horizon line, and the Central Otago landscape".

Scrap Is Not Crap!

Luke Wilson - Luke is super unique with his metal creations and objects that he constructs out of recycled materials.

Luke has also taken out the overall prize at the Wanaka Arts Society Labour Weekend Exibition for his sculpture titled Cutlery Kea.

Free Skiing Madness

Jackson Wells - He took us on an excursion to the world of top class free-style skiing. Skiing since the age of three, Jackson oozes pure enjoyment on the snow and is easy to spot from the huge grin on his face. Jackson represented NZ in freeski at the 2014 and 2015 FIS Junior World Champs and at the 2016 Youth Olympic Winter Games. His disciplines are Slopestyle, Halfpipe, and Big Air.

The Tiny House Dream

Doug Robinson - Discussing the process of working through the designing and building, to date, of his tiny house. From growing up in Montana, he has played and worked in Wanaka for the last 10 years. He has been designing houses from bespoke houses to both modular and prefab homes, all of which are part of the design concept for his tiny house.
