VOL 4

October 06, 2016
@ Mac Arts

After the roaring success of Vol 3, we are hosting our next PechaKucha Night Galashiels and everyone is welcome to come along, listen and be inspired by a series of presentations by Borders based designers, makers and shakers!   The event is free, and the bar is open from 7pm with presentations starting at 7.30pm.   This is an informal evening, with time to mingle and chat.  You don’t need to book, but our events are getting busier every time, so it would be great if you could let us know you’re coming so we can arrange seating.

Contact  Kay.McCluskey@liveborders1.org.uk or call Kay on 01450 360 441

You can also text Mary Morrison on 07789 944993

We are delighted to confirm our presenters for the night!  They are:

  • Charles Poulsen -  Maker of Things

  • Giles Etherington – Owner, Brand Satellite - a branding consultancy and integrated design, advertising and marketing agency

  • Grace Smith – Screen-Print Technician, Heriot Watt University, School of Textiles and Design
  • Jules Horne – Working writer and award winning playwright

  • Rosemary Eribe – Director and Founder of Eribé Knitwear Design

  • Emily Conning – Fashion Design Student, Heriot Watt University, School of Textiles and Design

  • Chris Wemyss – Events Organiser and the driving force behind Stowed Out Music Festival and Sound Out
