Join us for our next PechaKucha Night PDX on Tuesday, August 2nd, as we take over Holocene for a full evening of PK!   

The summer-inspired theme for this PechaKucha Night is Voyages. Our speakers--professionals in a wide variety of fields--will explore this topic in the simple 20x20 PechaKucha presentation format.

A Different Way

Being debt adverse and with college looming on the horizon, Amanda Fabrycki knew she needed to find a different way to pay for her education. By channeling her love of cars into a business she was able to find her own best path through college. She discusses how passion turned into business and how that business allowed her to achieve a goal that would not have been possible otherwise--graduating college debt free.

Guitars have a story by the time they get to me. Initials scratched in, worn edges, rusted hardware, layers of paint. Nathan Andrews likes to investigate the clues and find the history behind them. The son of a treasure hunter, he grew up in Key West, Florida surrounded by Pirate fantasy. He was influenced greatly by this and now search for treasures in the form of guitars.
