Eye Spy

BY DALE WEISS
@ VOL 7 ON MAY 24, 2014

When Dale Weiss started noticing images of single eyes showing up in his Facebook feed, he started annoying all his freinds with games of 'I Spy With My One Eye.' In this PechaKucha, he takes the game up a notch, but was clever enough to launch rolled up dollar bills into the audience as an incentive to guessers.

Vector Painting

BY BOB OLLER
@ VOL 7 ON MAY 24, 2014

Bob Oller is skilled in many media. For this PechaKucha he shares a wonderful collection of artwork he has created using a vector based illustration program, yielding results that appear anything but digital. Bob explains the great control in both linework and color achieved from this method, but the real beauty comes from the skill of the artist's hand in this collection.

CoWork Williamsburg

BY NATALIE MILLER-MOORE
@ VOL 7 ON MAY 24, 2014

CoWorking is becoming popular in larger urban centers as people are shifting to telecommuting models and entrepeneurship is on the rise. As a self employed journalist in Williamsburg, Natalie Miller-Moore sees the need for it in our less-than-urban small city. So she has helped found CoWork Williamsburg and is here to compare and contrast the pitfalls of working from home or a coffee shop with the benefits of a cowork space. Because, afterall, a coffee shop is not a productive place to work.
