Mike Maloney, creator and owner of Kota Longboards, gives a thought provoking talk that would make you want to buy a longboard right after! In a single longboard, you can see function, art, and style coexisting as one and in a single ride you can feel confident, courageous, and the thrill all at once. Through his company, he hopes to encourage people to be the adventurer inside of us all. As the companies motto states, "It's your life, crave it!"

Abandoned Spaces, A Better Tijuana

Miguel Buenrostro talks about his inititive for making Tijuana a better place for locals and tourists. Either by encouring arists and architects to recreate abondoned spaces ("DIY Urabnsim") or documenting the poorer areas to raise awarness, his efforts have contirbuted to the overall well being of Tijuana by transformring it into a cultural hub with a slowly reviving economy.

Stairway to Interaction

Rezan Pranata talks about his project for how people can walk up and down stairs better or have more fun doing it. You probably aready know the "make stairs into a piano" idea. But his idea involves more senses than just hearing. Pranata designs a new way to do stairs that would encourage you to walk up and down them 110 times a day at least!
