The School Creative Centre will be hosting Rye's first ever Pecha Kucha event.  Featuring resident artists from the Centre as well as a number of artists and practitioners from further afield, the inaugural event will be an exciting and enticing insight into the world artists, designers and various other creative practitioners.  Come along and have some fun!

A Farewell to Norms

Artist Jillian Eldridge discusses her work, and her attempts to break out of her established aesthetic. She crafts collages of mammal and insect forms of reflective material, then duplicates her collage on canvas with paint. She speaks of wandering humans, migrating animals, and moving away from her norms as themes.

He beieves that if the community were to stray away from capitalistic thinking, it would make way for more creativity.
