The Depanneur

BY LEN SENATER
@ VOL 22 ON MAR 19, 2013

It's not easy to be a depanneur, a person who get things fixed, a troubleshooter, a problem solver.

The concept behind Len Senater's "Depanneur" is to create a community-oriented venue in which interesting food things could happen. He wants to provide a legitimate space for all the underground culinaray talents in the city to showcase their talents.

Inspired by Montreal's dinning culture, Len wanted to disentangle quality from luxury, challenging the idea that good dinning experience has to be fancy. In this presentation, he shares his constant battle with the local authority (and neighbour) just to continue his dream.
