In conjunction with PechaKucha Night's Global Cities Week, PKn Salt Lake City is proud to present PechaKucha Night - Salt Lake City Volume 7, co-presented with AIGA Salt Lake City, held Friday, February 24th at The State Room.
Doors (and Haywire Outfit) | 6:30pm
Presentations | 7:15pm

Admission is $10 in advance (http://www.thestateroomslc.com/shows/item/317-pechakucha-slc-#7-fri-feb-24) and $15 at the door.

Join us once again at The State Room for a night of rousing 20X20 presentations. As part of Global Cities Week, we have invited our presenters to consider mentioning, or even focusing upon, our city. We are not only excited to be a part of a global event, which likely will have tens of thousands of participants, but even more excited to get together and celebrate/consider ours. We all know there is a lot going on here, and hope you are able to support another stellar group of local presenters as they reflect and inspire our ‘place’. Over the course of the evening we will discover: What are they doing here? What are they learning here and sharing elsewhere? What has time abroad enabled them to bring back to our odd and wonderful spot? Again, what (the h***) are they doing here?

Check out the list of presenters: artists Gary Vlasic, Mark Knudsen and David Ruhlman; designer, illustrator, artist and marketer Dan Christofferson; architects Bill Arthur, Prescott Muir, John Branson and Atlas Architects; graphic designer and eco-quester Kinde Nebeker; DJ and graphic artist Jesse Walker; Tim Lee, senior exhibit designer for the Utah Museum of Natural History; Randall Smith, creative director of Modern8; and Angela Brown, editor of SLUG Magazine.

PKN is not for profit; organizers, presenters and the band are volunteers. For more info about PKn Salt Lake City, visit: pecha-kucha.org/night/salt-lake-city/

AIGA, the professional association for design, is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research and advance education and ethical practice. For more info about AIGA Salt Lake City, visit: slc.aiga.org
