An Active Life, Is a Life Well Lived

BY LINDSAY SOMERS
@ VOL 30 ON MAY 11, 2017

Faced with the ultimate end, Lindsay Somers discusses how her Mother's lust for life even in her final months inspired her to chase her dream. Her work embodies her Mother's spirit and allows it to live on every day.  She bares her heart and soul in this beautiful ode to her Mother, the Thursday before Mother's Day.

Take a moment to stop and smell the roses, watch the clouds roll across the summer sky, and take a deep breath in the middle of all the bustling about.

AND HUG YOUR MOM!

This Guy is NOT Creative

BY BOB SOMERS
@ VOL 30 ON MAY 11, 2017

Bob Somers claims to not be creative, or have a creative bone in his body but boy can this guy sell a presentation.  He's an architect working with and in community spaces - but let me highlight that he's not creative at all - and making better use of unused locales.  Lets not forget how he took all his creative inspiration from Bob Ross, obviously from whom he gets his name.

Success is a Moving Target

BY ANDI SHARMA
@ VOL 30 ON MAY 11, 2017

Although her talk begins with a small history lesson on milestones the true history lesson was that of Andi herself.  In this honest and freeing presentation Andi describes how all at once her perfect world had unravelled and left her without a sense of direction or purpose.  How she regained her footing and succeeded to find her way to the next goal line, with more of her future still ahead of her.
