How to use travel to face your fears

BY LIZ CARLSON
@ VOL 2 ON MAR 14, 2017

Liz Carlson - I travel a lot and I’ve got a lot of fears. How does that work? As a professional travel blogger, I roam the world for a living. But instead of just taking pictures and telling stories, I use my adventures as an opportunity to challenge myself and overcome different fears while inspiring other people to do the same. 50 odd countries later, I’ve still got anxiety but now I also have learned many new things and have had quite a few screwups along the way.

About the City's Organizers

  • Lukas Bravenec

After university of Architecture I took the opportunity to work and live in New Zealand to better my English in the way of communication and also building-technical English language. I can say I happily stuck in Wanaka. I have been working on large commercial, industry and residential projects throughout the South Island of New Zealand as well as in Europe.

  • Tereza Jaresova

My life has taken me to many different places and through many different fields. Existence is a path full of exploring, adventure and learning for me. I like a diversity. I passed a few totally different schools (technical, social and sport), did many different jobs (teacher, postproduction, nannie, bartender, cook...) also spent some period of time outside of my country (Spain, India, England, Canada, New Zealand). My life is full of fun & hard work, happiness & pain, excitement & boredom, people & solitude. I am thankful for all of it. Lets go for a new adventure or lesson.
