VOL 19

April 13, 2016
@ GUITARS The Museum

First, a special welcome to the talented Pakistanian photographer Ali Khurshid who's taken a detour over Umeå to be able to attend.

PechaKucha sounds like a swede sneezing but is japanese and means "the sound of many people conversing". How does it work? Well, every speaker shows 20 images, one every 20 seconds, while presenting. Short and concise, 6 minutes and 40 seconds of speaking time for each participant. All participants relate differently to the evening's theme. It's always exciting!
As part of this PechaKucha we will be showing the short film (ca 7 minutes) 'The centrifuge brain project'; a new thrilling collaboration with Short Break/Ruxandra Nedelcu.

The speaking order will be:
Katrin Holmqvist-Sten, Assistant professor
Lars Nilsson, Research Engineer/ maker
Mats Olofsson, Editor/Editorial Writer
Oscar Björnham, Physicist
