Artist Yoshinori Sakamaki a.k.a. sense focuses his artistic expression on conveying peace and calmness where it's most necessary. During his 15 years of professional experience, he dabbled in many medians of artwork with collaborators with the goal to create a more beautiful and fun world.

Peace in the Sand

Sense of smell

Smell is not just about what you feel is disgusting or nice. Smell forcefully sends a signal that immediately clears a way to our emotions and memories. Is it not strange that scent is only -applied sporadically in media & communication design?

Together with CMD Breda students and teachers Wander Eikelboom researched the current and future possibilities of scent in media- and communication design. These range from revolutionary thought-experiments to products and services that we could implement.

Finding Peace

A Sense of Place - New Paintings from a New Locale

David Baker walks us through a collection of of artwork, in watercolor, that captures the changing seasons, light and environment thoughout an entire year in southwest Michigan.  

David is a lifelong artist/teacher who has recently relocated to the St. Joseph area. He serves as Art Professor Emeritus at Southwestern Michigan College, where he has taught for three and one half decades. Additionally, he is a faculty member of Ox-Bow School of Art in Saugatuck and The Krasl Art Center.
